That is: you described them with these repulsive descriptions so that people would turn away from them, like the action of the sorcerer who casts a spell on people to divert them, for sorcery has types, among which is diversion and among which is attachment. Diversion is when a person is diverted from the one he loves, as Allah the Exalted said: And the strongest of relationships and love is what is between spouses, as Allah the Exalted said: So they bring these words to turn people away from the people of the Sunnah and the community and to make them hate them.
