A question regarding the conflict between the people of truth and the people of falsehood, and that it is ongoing and enduring

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Yes, O Muhammad.

The questioner : I mean, we see this as the decree of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) in His creation. In every era, people differ, and perhaps beliefs differ, but this is the work of evil, not the people of good. Is that not so, O Shaykh?

The Shaykh : Yes, there is no doubt.
And thus have We made for every prophet an enemy from among the criminals وكذلك جعلنا لكل نبي عدوا من المجرمين
[Al-Furqan 25:31]
Yes.

The questioner : O Shaykh, nowadays some people call the Muslims who are monotheists "extremists" and "hardliners," for example, and "fundamentalists" and "Wahhabis," ...

The Shaykh : Huh?

The questioner : The hadith ... and all the contemporary Muslims now, one says his garment is short, and this one has a beard, and this one is such and such, in the same manner, I mean.

The Shaykh : Yes, this will continue until the Day of Resurrection. There must be a conflict between truth and falsehood. The people of truth may be harmed by these people, but for a wisdom that Allah (Mighty and Majestic) wills, so that they may attain the rank of the patient, for patience is a high rank that is not easy. One does not attain the rank of patience except through something one endures with patience. And as the poet said, O Adam:
"And patience is like its name, bitter in taste *** But its consequences are sweeter than honey"
Have you tasted patience?
The student: ...

The Shaykh : Have you tasted patience or not?

The questioner : Sometimes.

The Shaykh : Yes, Shaykh?

The questioner : ...

The Shaykh : What?

The questioner : Does he sin for that ...?

The Shaykh : Allah is the Helper. He is ignorant, but not ignorant of ignorance.

The questioner : ...

The Shaykh : No, no, no. He knows, he knows, but it is fanaticism, may Allah protect us from it.

The questioner : The one who does not know?

The Shaykh : The one who does not know? How can he not know when he is a scholar of hadith and they shout at him? How can he not know? But it is fanaticism.

The questioner : But he clarifies ...?

The Shaykh : It is obligatory for him to take the middle path.
The student: ...

The Shaykh : Yes, that is correct.
Is that all? Three questions.
