(Clarifying that the one who denies the attributes is a denier of all the messengers, and clarifying the similarity between the one who denies the attributes and the polytheist, and refuting the one who denies the attributes) Whoever says that the attributes are denied is a denier of all the messengers of Allah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"Whoever says that the attributes are denied is a denier of all the messengers of Allah, and the distinction"
The one who says that the attributes are denied is a denier of all the messengers. The one who says that the attributes are denied is a denier of all the messengers, because all the messengers affirm for Allah the Exalted what He has affirmed for Himself of attributes of perfection, and so do their followers. You will not find in the speech of the messengers a denial of any attribute of perfection from the attributes of Allah.
"Indeed, the one who denies the attributes has no god other than the one sculpted by thoughts in the minds"
He (may Allah have mercy on him) intended to liken those who deny the attributes to the polytheists. The polytheists sculpted idols to worship them besides Allah, and the one who denies the attributes sculpted something to worship besides Allah. Because the reality of the statement of the one who denies the attributes is that there is no god, especially those who deny the names and attributes. They say, "Do not say that Allah is existent, and do not say that Allah is non-existent, because if you say that Allah is existent, you have likened Him to existing things, and if you say that Allah is non-existent, you have likened Him to impossible things, not to non-existent things, I mean, you have likened Him to non-existent things." We say to them: Glory be to Allah! If you say that He is neither existent nor non-existent, you have likened Him to impossible, unattainable things, because it is not possible for anything to be neither existent nor non-existent, ever. It is not possible. So they sculpted a god and said, "This god, they sculpted it with what? With corrupt, false thoughts." The polytheists also sculpted
"And likewise the god of the polytheists is sculpted by the hands" These people’s god is sculpted by thoughts, and these people’s god is sculpted by hands. "They are the same in their sculpting
But the god of the messengers"
We ask Allah to make us among their followers
"But the god of the messengers is the One who is above the heavens, the Creator of the universes" (Glorified and Exalted is He). This is the god of the messengers.
