The meaning of the poet's saying: May Allah send prayers and blessings upon him. What is this that *** comes after this with an explanation? What does the one seeking clarification say, O *** people of blindness, after this clarification?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"May Allah send prayers and blessings upon him" O Allah, send prayers and blessings upon him.
"May Allah send prayers and blessings upon him. What is this that *** comes after this with an explanation"
The student: Clarification.

The Shaykh : After this?
The student: Clarification.

The Shaykh : There are two versions: al-Tabyan (clarification) and al-Bayan (explanation). That is to say: Can anyone bring an explanation better than this explanation? No, that is fine.
"What does the one seeking clarification say, O *** people of blindness, after this clarification"
And what does he say? He says nothing, for there is nothing clearer than this.
"With what wording did it come to you? You said to him: *** This wording is separated from certainty"
"With what wording did it come to you" means Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). You said to him: This wording is separated from certainty. Even if the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had said it directly, face to face, they would have said: This speech is separated from what? From certainty. This implies only suspicion, not certainty.
"And you struck his face with the armies of *** figurative interpretation to soften your rejection"
You struck his face with the armies of figurative interpretation to soften your rejection. That is to say: to make the matter easier, because they cannot say "no." Rather, they say: "Yes, but the intended meaning is such and such." Settle down, people.
You will see your Lord just as you see the sun on a clear day with no clouds between you and it إنكم سترون ربكم كما ترون الشمس صحوا ليس دونها سحاب
or
as you see the moon on the night of a full moon كما ترون القمر ليلة البدر
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2554Sahih (Darussalam)
They cannot say "we do not see our Lord." They say: "Yes, we see our Lord, but it is a vision of insight, not a vision of the eye." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used this analogy only to establish this vision of insight, not the vision of the eye. There is no doubt that this is a distortion of the facts. Therefore, they say that they reject it through figurative interpretation to soften the response. Because if they had denied it, their words would not have been accepted, and people would have declared them disbelievers. But they bring forced interpretations in order to soften the response. Therefore, he said: "to soften your rejection".
