Action is the result of will and power, and no action is possible without will, and no action is possible without power, is that not so? Do you understand? It is not possible for there to be an action without will, nor an action without power. For this reason, if you wanted to travel to a country but you did not have a mount, you would not be able to travel. Why? Because of the lack of power. And if you had a mount but the road was dangerous, so you did not want to travel, then the travel would not take place. Why? Because of the lack of will. And if the will and the power are present, then the action is realized. For this reason, he said:
"And action is giving the will its ruling *** along with the power of the doer and the possibility
So if His attributes are negated, Exalted is He *** then all of this is clearly invalid"
If Allah does not have attributes, where are the rulings of these attributes? Then He would have no creation, no hearing, and no sight. And even the created things would not be the creation of Allah, because we know that the Creator includes the attribute of creating, and includes the ruling that He creates. And that He creates cannot be except by will and power. So if the will, the power, the creation, and the ruling are negated, what remains? Everything is negated regarding Allah. We ask Allah for safety.
