Recitation from the poet’s words: “This is the arrival of our Prophet, the greeting of peace from… to his saying… Do you wish to overturn the wisdom of the All-Wise?”
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: “This is the arrival of our Prophet, the greeting of peace from *** whoever comes with a greeting accompanied by excellence
That is not exclusive to him either, just as *** the one sent with the Qur’an said
Whoever visits the grave of a brother of his and comes *** with a greeting to him, and he is a person of faith
The Divine responded to him with the truth of his spirit *** until he responds to him with a response of clarification”
The Shaykh : Allahu Akbar.
The reciter: “And the hadith mentioning their life in their graves *** is not authentic, and its apparent meaning is denial
So look at the chain of narration to know its status *** if you have knowledge of this matter
This is what we say: they are alive, but *** for us, it is like the life of those with bodies
And the soil is beneath them and above their heads *** and on their left sides, then on their right
Like what you have said, may Allah protect us *** from falsehood and slander
Rather, with their Lord the Exalted, it is like what *** He said about the martyrs in the Qur’an
But their life is greater and their state *** is higher and more perfect with the One of Excellence
This is, and as for the presentation of the deeds of the *** servants to him, it is the truth and possible
And a report was brought about it, so if the hadith *** is authentic with it, it is truth and not denial”
The Shaykh : If the hadith is authentic
The reciter: “And a report was brought about it, so if the hadith *** is authentic with it, it is truth, this”
“And a report was brought about it, so if the hadith *** is authentic with it, it is truth and not denial
But this is not exclusive to him either, *** rather by reports that were narrated, which are good
So upon the father of the person is presented his effort *** and upon his relatives along with the brothers
If it was a good effort, they rejoiced in it *** and were glad, oh joy of the joyful
Or if it was a bad effort, they grieved and said *** “O Lord, return him to excellence
And for this, the one who narrated this hadith sought refuge from the Companions” after him
The Shaykh : After him
The reciter: “And for this, the one who narrated this hadith sought refuge from the Companions *** after him with his tongue
“O Lord, I seek refuge from a disgrace *** by which I am disgraced before the Near, the Exalted
That is the martyr, the approved Ibn Rawahah, the *** beloved”
“That is the martyr, the approved Ibn Rawahah, the *** beloved with forgiveness and pleasure
But this is exclusive, and what is for the Chosen One *** is what the two communities do
These are the limits for the feet of people *** in this difficult station, hard in its matter
And the truth in it is not carried by the intellects *** of the sons of the times due to the hardness of their minds
And their ignorance of the spirit with its rulings *** and its attributes, due to their familiarity with bodies
So be pleased with what the Divine was pleased with for them *** Do you wish to overturn the wisdom of the All-Wise?”
The Shaykh : Allah knows best.
The questioner : … The question … A fixed question in the grave …
The Shaykh : Yes
The questioner : Do we not say it is impossible because of…
The Shaykh : What?
The questioner : His prayer in the grave
The Shaykh : Yes, yes.
The questioner : Do we not say it is impossible due to the report of the one… whose deed is cut off
The Shaykh : Yes, this prayer of his in the grave is not a prayer of reward, but only enjoyment, meaning he sees it as bliss. And upon his family and all his companions. The author (may Allah have mercy on him) said: We have come upon the story of Thabit
