(The Necessity of Seeking Refuge in Allah from the Evil of the Self and Bad Deeds) And seek refuge from two things, which are the two that *** cause the destruction of this creation, guaranteeing the evil of souls and bad

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"And seek refuge from two things, which are the two that *** cause the destruction of this creation, guaranteeing the evil of souls and bad deeds"
This means: Ask whom? Allah (Mighty and Majestic), ask Him for refuge, meaning: that He protects you from two things, which are the two that guarantee the destruction of this creation. So he (may Allah have mercy on him) guided us to ask for guidance from Allah and to seek refuge in Him from these two traits.
He said: They are
"The evil of souls and bad deeds *** and by Allah, these are two greater evils than them"
This means: Seek refuge in Allah from the evil of souls and bad deeds, because they are the two that guarantee the destruction of people.
"And indeed, this seeking of refuge from them *** came in the sermon of the one sent with the Qur'an"
In his saying (peace and blessings be upon him) in the Sermon of Need:
We seek refuge with Allah from the evil of our own souls and from our bad deeds نعوذ بالله من شرور أنفسنا ومن سيئات أعمالنا
Sunan Ibn Majah 1893Sahih (Darussalam)
, because the soul that commands evil leads you to every kind of destruction, and bad deeds prevent you from every kind of good. So if bad deeds prevent good, and the soul leads to evil, the person is destroyed, yes.
