Reading from the poet’s words: “Glory be to the Lord of creation, the Allotter of His bounty…” to the end of the chapter

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: “Glory be to the Lord of creation, the Allotter of His bounty *** And justice among people by the scale
Had He willed, people would have been one thing *** There is no one among them who is lost or bewildered
But He, Glorified and Exalted is He, singles out for the great *** bounty the essence of mankind
And the rest are not fit for good *** Like thorns, they are the fuel of the Fire
And the adornment of the Gardens are the people of guidance *** Allah is the Greatest; the two are not equal
So ask for guidance from the One in Whose hands *** is the affair of the lowly and the needy
And ask for refuge from the One

The Shaykh : from
The reciter: “And ask for refuge from the two which are the two *** by whom this creation is ruined
The evil of souls and the badness of deeds *** And by Allah, they are the two greatest evils
And indeed, seeking refuge from these two came *** in the sermon of the one sent with the Qur'an
If the servant knew that his affliction *** in this world is these two evils
He would make seeking refuge from them his constant habit *** until you see him inside the shrouds
And ask for refuge from arrogance

The Shaykh : From arrogance
The reciter: “And ask for refuge from arrogance and desire *** For they are the two that gather all evil
And they turn the young man away from every *** path of good, for they dwell in his heart
So you see his desire preventing him at times *** and arrogance at others, then they join together
And by Allah, there is no one in the Fire except a *** follower of these two, so ask the inhabitants of the Fire
And by Allah, if you stripped yourself of them *** the delegations of all humility would come to you”
