Discussion of the atheist, who has no deity, and for this reason the compiler did not mention him

The Shaykh : There is a fourth category, but they do not worship anyone at all. This is the atheist who does not worship anyone. However, the author’s intention is to refer to one who worships Allah or one who worships something else. His intention is one who worships something. Therefore, those who have a deity do not fall outside these three groups: one who affirms the oneness of Allah, yes; one who affirms the oneness of other than Allah; and one who associates partners with Him, yes. Then the author moved on, by way of digression, to the topic of tawhid (the oneness of Allah).
