'Or were you one who has hearing and sight and knowledge and anger and satisfaction?
'Or were you ever a speaker, one who speaks, one who acts with every action at all times?
'Or did you do what you will, the reality of the action that has established itself in the minds?
'Or were you a living one, an actor by will and power, an actor of actions, one who is'

'An action that exists without an actor is impossible and inconceivable for any human being
'Rather, the state of the actor before, during, and after is what it was, without any distinction
'And by Allah, you are not an actor of anything if your affair is this affair from you
'Not entering into us, and not exiting from us, an idea that you have circulated in the minds
'So by what were you a king among us, a king who is obeyed, one who crushes authority?
'A name and a form with no reality beneath it; the affair of kings is greater than this affair
'This, and a second one said: 'You are our king, and we do not accept anyone else as authority
'Since you have taken all the attributes of perfection, and for this reason the two worlds submitted to you
'And you have risen upon the throne of kingship and taken control of the lands with this
'But no one approaches your door unless he comes'

'And he humbles himself to the gatekeeper, the curtain, and the intercessors, the people of nearness and kindness

'Indeed, the one who denies the divine attributes stands in enmity, in the mold of purifying the Most Merciful'
