(Explanation that the servant’s bearing of the pleasure of Allah and following the Sunnah of His Messenger is evidence of sincere certainty and love for Allah) So the solitary servant bears His pleasure with *** the abundance of the enemy and the scarcity of helpers
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : The author (may Allah have mercy on him) explains the virtue of these strangers when they worshipped Allah (Mighty and Majestic) in a state of estrangement, saying:
“So the solitary servant bears His pleasure with *** the abundance of the enemy and the scarcity of helpers
What indicates a sincere certainty *** and love and the reality of gnosis "
He says: The solitary servant, who has no one with him, indeed he is a stranger among the people, bears the pleasure of Allah with the abundance of the enemy—its abundance means its multitude—and the scarcity of helpers. This indicates sincere certainty. Undoubtedly, if he looks to the right and to the left and all people are opposed to him, then his steadfastness in what he is upon is evidence of his sincere certainty, and love for whom? For Allah (Mighty and Majestic), and the reality of knowing Allah, that he truly knows Allah.
