(Explanation that visual sight is transitive with "to," unlike spiritual sight which is not transitive with "to") And he also repeated its description as a gaze, and this*** is without doubt understanding and vision

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Then the author (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
" This, and it is sufficient that He, the Exalted, *** described the faces with a gaze of the mind
And he also repeated its description as a gaze"
He said:
[Some] faces, that Day, will be radiant,
[Al-Qiyamah 75:22]
Then he described it with another description, saying:
gazing at their Lord.

" And this*** is without doubt understanding and vision with the naked eye"
Correct? It is gazing at its Lord, looking
" And the preposition "to" came to remove the doubt from*** the thought, just as a person anticipates"
Meaning, if
to إلى
were omitted, it would be possible that the intended meaning of the gaze is the gaze of the heart, which is thought, as in the saying of Allah the Exalted:
Say, "Observe what is in the heavens and earth."
[Yunus 10:101]
Do you see?
Say, "Observe what is in the heavens قل انظروا ماذا في السماوات
[Yunus 10:101]
Is it the gaze of the eye or the gaze of the heart?
The student: ...

The Shaykh : Because it was not transitive with "to," and when He intended the gaze of the eye, He said:
Then do they not look at the camels - how they are created?
[Al-Ghashiyah 88:17]
Have they not looked at the heaven above them - how We structured it
[Qaf 50:6]
So the gaze of the eye is transitive with "to," and the gaze of the heart is transitive by itself without a preposition. Good, and for this reason he said:
" And the preposition "to" came to remove the doubt from*** the thought, just as a person anticipates"
