(Explanation that the addition of the vision to the face indicates visual vision, not spiritual vision) And he added it to the place of their vision by mentioning the face, for the eyes are established upon it

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"And the addition to the place of their vision by mentioning the face, for the eyes are established upon it"
I have it as "And he added it"
You have a dot
The student: ...

The Shaykh : Without a dot, yes, this is the correct one
"And he added it to the place of their vision" means he added the looking
"To the place of their vision by mentioning the face, for the eyes are established upon it"
He added the looking to the face. Why? Because the face is the place of the eyes, the place of the eyes... And he added it. The face is the place of the eyes. So if it is the place of the eyes, what is looking? Does the face itself look, or the eye that is in the face?
The student: The eye

The Shaykh : The eye that is in the face is the one that looks. He said:
"By Allah, this is not a thought and a hidden expectation, nor a vision for the hearts
By Allah,
I swear that this is not a matter of intellectual speculation, because the context indicates that it is not intellectual speculation; that is, it indicates the prevention of it being intellectual speculation. The meaning is not waiting, because waiting is more severe than the Fire and Paradise, and there is no waiting in them. Nor is the intended meaning that it is the vision of the heart, because some people say:
Looking at her Lord with her hearts إلى ربها ناظرة بقلوبها
And glory be to Allah, the Magnificent. We deny the vision of the eye, which is in the face, and we affirm the vision of the heart, which is in the chest. There is no doubt that this is distortion. He said:
"There is no painful expectation in the hearts, and the wording rejects it for the one who knows"
