Know that the eye has become blind, so cling to your Lord, the One known for excellence, and ask Him for faith that directly touches your heart, which is veiled from it, so that the two eyes may see, and ask Him

The Shaykh : And for this reason, he (may Allah have mercy on him) says:
"Know that the eye has become blind, so cling to your Lord, the One known for excellence"
"The One known": This is a description of the Lord, not the object of the verb "cling"
"The One known for excellence
And ask Him for faith that directly touches your heart, which is *** veiled from it, so that the two eyes may see
And ask Him for a guiding light that guides you in the paths of journeying to Him at all times"
Ask Allah (Mighty and Majestic) and do not despair, O my brothers, do not despair of the mercy of Allah (Mighty and Majestic), for Allah (Mighty and Majestic) is more generous than we are. Whoever draws near to Him by a handspan, He draws near to him by an arm's length, and whoever draws near to Him by an arm's length, He draws near to him by a cubit, and whoever comes to Him walking, He comes to him running. He is swifter to His servant than the servant is to Him. But the matter requires perseverance, waiting for relief, and not despairing of the mercy of Allah (Mighty and Majestic). Yes.
