They praised piety at the time of death, just as the journey is [praised] at dawn, so how excellent are the two praises. They unified their resolve toward the heights and traveled on, so they did not descend to Nu'man.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"They praised piety at the time of death, just as the journey is [praised] at dawn, so how excellent are the two praises"
This means that when death approached them, they praised the piety and faith that Allah had bestowed upon them, because they realized that they were among the winners, unlike the one whom death approaches while he is the opposite of this; he will not praise himself.
"They unified their resolve toward the heights and traveled on, so they did not descend to Nu'man"
This means that they exerted themselves in the journey, and their camels' resolve was unified in the sense of the camels' swiftness, meaning they hastened them. They traveled at night and did not descend to Nu'man. Nu'man is a well-known valley with many tents.
