How did they see the face of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) during the Fajr prayer while they were praying early?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Shaykh, may Allah reward you. I am confused about the prayer that Abu Bakr prayed and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) lifting the curtain. It was the Fajr prayer, and how did the Companions see the face of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) so clearly that it became distinct to them... did they pray it in the twilight?

The Shaykh : They prayed it early, yes. And what do you say in answer to this? He asks how they saw the face of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) during the Fajr prayer while they were praying it early?
The student: It can be said that there was a lamp in the house, for example.

The Shaykh : In the mosque.
Student: No, in the house.

The Shaykh : Or in the house.
The student: And the house is next to the mosque.

The Shaykh : Okay, that is one point.
The student: Twilight is the mixing of the darkness of the night with the light of the morning.

The Shaykh : And in multiple hadiths, people could hardly recognize one another, and the women would leave without anyone recognizing them because of the twilight.

The questioner : That he (peace and blessings be upon him) raised the lamp so that people could see, just as one of us does now in the darkness.

The Shaykh : Meaning, it implies that there was a lamp that was raised.
The student: He raised it so that people could see, and his face (peace and blessings be upon him) was seen.

The Shaykh : Meaning, it is close to the statement of al-Sharafi.

The questioner : Perhaps it was at the end of the prayer, and Abu Bakr had lengthened the prayer after the dawn had brightened.

The Shaykh : Yes, it is known that he passed away when? On the twelfth of the month of Rabi' al-Awwal. Otherwise, we would say there might have been a moon, but there was no moon on that night.

The questioner : Can it not be said that it was the light of his face?

The Shaykh : Meaning, that it was a sign from the signs of Allah? It can be said, but in any case, we say that what happened was of this nature: that they saw him. As for how they saw him? I do not know. Yes, it is tiring.

The questioner : It can be said that the Companions waited for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) until the time was about to pass, and then they prayed, so the light was clear.

The Shaykh : Meaning, it implies that you are saying the prayer was delayed, like the statement of Brother Khalid, but the reason here is that they delayed in waiting, whereas he says they delayed because of the length of the prayer. The important thing is to know that they saw his face as if it were a page of the mushaf, but as for how, Allah knows best. Yes.
