Explanation of the Book of the Adhan-10a

The reader: Muhammad ibn Muqatil narrated to us, saying: Abdullah informed us, saying: Yunus informed us from al-Zuhri, saying: Salim ibn Abdullah informed me from Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), who said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) when he stood for prayer raise his hands until they were level with his shoulders. He did this when he said the takbir for bowing, and he did it when he raised his head from bowing, saying, "Allah hears the one who praises Him." He did not do this in prostration.
