Benefits of the hadith regarding 'Uthman's addition of the third call to prayer on the roof.

The Shaykh : In this is evidence that whenever there is a need for the third adhan, which precedes the arrival of the imam, it is prescribed. If the people in the time of 'Uthman, who were more eager to attend Jumu'ah than people are today, were called to prayer in order to attend, then here, Ya Ayyub, or at this time, it is all the more so.
But should the first adhan be a few minutes before the second, or a duration that allows people to attend?
The apparent ruling is the latter, because if it is only a few minutes before, what is the benefit of it? There is no benefit in it; rather, it is at a time that allows people to arrive at the mosque.
And how good is what the people here in our town practice, which is that the adhan is called an hour or forty-five minutes before the time so that people can attend.
Some people claim that this adhan is a religious innovation. If he means that it is an innovation in the time of 'Uthman, then this man is the innovator, the one who opposes the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Mishkat al-Masabih 165Sahīh (Zubair `Aliza'i)
And if he means that it is an innovation in our current time, and claims that microphones and loudspeakers suffice in place of the third adhan, then this matter can be discussed, but it is not to be denied, because he is a mujtahid.
As for if he means that it is an innovation in the time of 'Uthman, then by Allah, he is worthy of being denied, and it should be said to him: You are the innovator, you are the one who opposes the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), because 'Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) has a Sunnah to be followed by the command of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)Mishkat al-Masabih 165Sahīh (Zubair `Aliza'i).
But if the third adhan, which is the first, is only a few minutes apart from the second, in truth there is no benefit in it, because if the intention is to inform people by voice, that is achieved by the second adhan, and if the intention is the number, it is done without benefit, so this is not prescribed.
As for the practice of people here today, I think it is more in accordance with the Sunnah than those who make it so that there are only minutes between it and the second adhan.
