The benefits of the hadith regarding the Abyssinians whom Aisha saw, with explanation.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : In this hadith, there is evidence for the permissibility of singing by women on the days of the festival, and it appears that this is also the case for men. This is because if it was customary at that time that only women would sing, then if it becomes customary at another time for men to sing, there is no barrier, as the operative cause is the same. In fact, the operative cause for women singing is stronger, because the temptation caused by them is greater. So if this type of relaxation is permitted for them on the festivals, then the same should apply to men.
Likewise, the shields. Khalid, explain to us what are shields?
The reader: Shields is the plural of shield, and it is the target.

The Shaykh : And the spears?
The reader: Spears, with the hamzah kasrah, is the plural of spear.

The Shaykh : Good, so it is like what we call a debate. One has a spear and the other has a shield to defend against the war, so they were playing. And where were they playing? In the other narration, they were playing in the mosque, because it was the days of the festival. From this, some people took the view that there is nothing wrong with what they call the display on the days of the festival, because they play with swords and rifles, yes, in order to relax the soul.
In this hadith is the good character of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), because he said to her:
Do you wish to see? أتشتهين أن تنظري؟
because this is a scene that a person loves to see, especially someone like Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), because she was young in age. When the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, she was 18 years old, young. He asked her if she would like to see? She said yes, so he placed me behind him, so that they would not look at her. She was looking at them, but they were not looking at her. She would say, "Take my cheek," and he would say:
`A'isha reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came (to my apartment) while there were two girls with me singing the song of the Battle of Bu`ath. He lay down on the bed and turned away his face. Then came Abu Bakr and he scolded me and said: Oh! this musical instrument of the devil in the house of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) turned towards him and said: Leave them alone. And when he (the Holy Prophet) became unattentive, I hinted them and they went out, and it was the day of `Id and the black men were playing with shields and spears. (I do not remember) whether I asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) or whether he said to me if I desired to see (that sport). I said: Yes. I stood behind him with his face parallel to my face, and he said: O Banu Arfada, be busy (in your sports) till I was satiated. He said (to me): Is that enough? I said: Yes. Upon this he asked me to go. دونكم يا بني أرفدة

until she got tired, then he said to her, "Is that enough?" I said yes, he said
Go فاذهبي
This is the report. It is taken from this hadith that there is nothing wrong with a person taking his family out to watch what is good to watch, such as if a river flowed and the women went out to look at it, or other reasons that you see your family loves to see. But with the condition that there is no temptation in this. If there is temptation in this, as is found in some games, or more accurately, the playgrounds that exist in some cities where the foolish gather and the women remain among these foolish people, then this is prohibited. Not because watching is forbidden, but because of the fear of temptation.
