Verily, Allah is Odd (He is one, and it is an odd number) and He loves odd number. وإن الله وتر يحب الوتر

so that it becomes clear that what Allah has prescribed is in odd numbers. The general rule in cosmic and legal matters is that they are established in odd numbers. The heavens are seven and the earths are seven, the Night of Decree is usually the 29th, and so on. Likewise, odd numbers are frequent in prescribed matters: three is frequent, seven is frequent, and five is frequent.
