That Ibn Abbas sent a message to Ibn al-Zubayr at the beginning of his being pledged allegiance that the adhan was not called for the prayer on the day of al-Fitr; rather, the khutbah was after the prayer. أن ابن عباس أرسل إلى ابن الزبير في أول ما بويع له إنه لم يكن يؤذن بالصلاة يوم الفطر، إنما الخطبة بعد الصلاة
