A hadith about one who pledged allegiance to the Prophet on only two prayers

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
O Shaykh! It is reported in Musnad Ahmad that a man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to pledge allegiance to him on the condition that he would not pray except two prayers, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) accepted his pledge. The researcher of the book says: Its chain of narration is good. We would like you to explain the hadith. May Allah reward you!
May Allah reward you! The scholars have differed regarding its authenticity and weakness. As for the one who said: If it is weak, that has relieved us of the concern. As for the one who said: If it is good or hasan, its explanation is that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was told about that in another hadith, where he said: "If they become Muslims, they will pray". So he accepted this from him because he knew that if he became a Muslim in truth, he would pray.
And can it be said to someone in our time who wants to enter Islam with this condition? By Allah, I would hesitate on this matter.Because the Messenger (may the prayer and peace of Allah be upon him) said: "If he becomes a Muslim, he will pray". This may be from the knowledge of the unseen which Allah revealed to His Messenger, but we do not have that. Therefore, "The Prophet ordered Mu'adh to call them to five prayers, and if they respond to that, inform them that Allah has made obligatory upon them a charity".And this indicates that we must say: Five prayers, yes.
