The Absolute Takbir on the Festival of Sacrifice

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa No. ( 1185 )
Q: What is your opinion regarding the absolute takbir on the Festival of Sacrifice only? Does it continue until the end of the thirteenth day or not? And is there a difference between the pilgrim and the non-pilgrim?
A: The absolute takbir continues until the end of the last day of the days of Tashreeq, and there is no difference in this between the pilgrim and the non-pilgrim; because of the saying of Allah the Exalted:
mention the name of Allah on known daysوَيَذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ فِي أَيَّامٍ مَعْلُومَاتٍ
[Al-Hajj 22:28]
the verse, and His saying:
And remember Allah during [specific] numbered daysوَاذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ فِي أَيَّامٍ مَعْدُودَاتٍ
[Al-Baqarah 2:203]
So the known days are the ten days, and the counted days are the days of Tashreeq, as stated by Ibn Abbas, al-Bukhari mentioned that from him, and al-Bukhari said: Ibn Umar and Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to go out to the market during the ten days and recite the takbir, and the people would recite the takbir with their takbir.
And in al-Bukhari as a suspended narration: And Ibn Umar used to recite the takbir at Mina on those days, and behind the prayers, and on his bed, and in his tent, and in his sitting place and his walking place, on all of those days. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.
