The benefits of the hadith regarding Qunut.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : So whatever you harvest, leave it in its ears, except for a little of what you eat.
He only guided them to leave it in the ears because if it remains in the ear, it does not rot, but if it is removed from the ear, it rots, because this ear is, by the permission of Allah, a covering that protects it from corruption.
Then after that will come seven severe years ثم يأتي من بعد ذلك سبع شداد
meaning severe and difficult
which will consume what you saved for them يأكلن ما قدمتم لهن
[Yusuf 12:48]
What did they present? Yes, what they left in the ears
except a little from which you will store. إلا قليلا مما تحصنون
[Yusuf 12:48]
meaning what you preserve and guard and labor for
Then will come after that a year in which the people will be given rain and in which they will press [olives and grapes]." ثم يأتي من بعد ذلك عام فيه يغاث الناس وفيه يعصرون
[Yusuf 12:49]
So how many years were there? Seven and seven, and in the fifteenth year the severity is removed. How did Yusuf (peace be upon him) understand from this vision what he interpreted it as? He understood that he saw seven fat cows, and these are years of abundance, which are eaten by seven lean cows, and these are years of drought. Seven green ears mean abundance and plenty of water and crops, and others dry means there is no crop. But how did he understand that in the fifteenth year people will be relieved and they will press? He understood that because that is a specific number, and the jurists used it as evidence for the concept of number, and that the number has a concept, contrary to those who said that the number has no concept. Rather, it is said that the number has a concept. And Yusuf understood from the seven fat cows and the seven lean cows that the severity would be removed in the fifteenth year. That is, the years for which the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed were years of drought, not abundance? Years of drought. For this reason, Quraysh suffered a great drought, until one of them, from the intensity of hunger, would see smoke between him and the sky, and would not see it clearly.
