The meaning of the saying of Allah the Exalted: "And when the stars are scattered."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :
And when the stars fall, scattering, وإذا الكواكب انتثرت
[Al-Infitar 82:2]
The stars are the great celestial bodies, and they are in the sky. They are the adornment of the sky, as Allah the Exalted said:
And We have certainly beautified the nearest heaven with stars ولقد زينا السماء الدنيا بمصابيح
[Al-Mulk 67:5]
If you want to know that they are an adornment and that they truly beautify the sky with a great beauty, then be in a desert of the earth where the sky is clear and there are no lights around you; you will find a great adornment. And even more beautiful and better than that is if you ride the sea; if you are in the depths of the sea, you will find a great splendor and beauty in the sky that no one perceives except one who has witnessed it, as those who have ridden the sea have told me. This is a confirmation of the saying of Allah the Exalted:
And We have certainly beautified the nearest heaven with stars ولقد زينا السماء الدنيا بمصابيح
[Al-Mulk 67:5]
And His saying:
Indeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment إنا زينا السماء الدنيا بزينة
[As-Saffat 37:6]
What are they?
the stars الكواكب
Well, when these great stars, which are the adornment of the sky, are scattered on the Day of Resurrection, they will be removed from their places, and that is by the command of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, the Creator of all things, the All-Able to do all things.
