Continuation of the explanation of the meaning of His saying: "And He determined its stations so that you may know the number of years and the reckoning."

The Shaykh : I return to the Noble Qur'an, specifically to its exegesis. Allah, Mighty and Majestic, says: For what purpose? . Do you not know, O my brothers, that some people determine for you the day of the month based on what they observe of the moon's stations? The first quarter, the second, the third, and the fourth, and so on. They say, "Tonight is the seventh of the month," even though they do not know when the month began. Why? Because they observed the moon and knew its station. Thus, they determine the day for you precisely based on these stations, and both young and old, males and females, know this.
