Evidence from reason and sound reflection.

The Shaykh : Is it reasonable that the One who is perfect in attributes (Exalted and Majestic is He) should be below the created beings? Or is it part of His perfection that He is above? Answer me, my brothers, with reason. With reason, is it part of His perfection that He is above? So reason indicates that Allah must be above. Then it is asked: Is being above an attribute of perfection or an attribute of deficiency? Yes, it is an attribute of perfection. Therefore, it is obligatory to affirm it for Allah (Mighty and Majestic).
