Benefits of the hadith of Fatimah bint Qays (may Allah be pleased with her).

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Among them is the permissibility of seeking counsel when dealing with any person if you do not know about him, because Fatimah bint Qays consulted the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).
And among them is that it is permissible for the one being consulted to mention characteristics that make one desire the person or repel from him. But with honesty, not with bias, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: Mu'awiyah is a poor man with no wealth, and Abu Jahm does not put the stick down from his shoulder, and there is no harm in that.
So if someone says: If I hear that a man has proposed to another, and I know that the suitor is not a suitable match, is it permissible for me to go to the one being proposed to and tell him that this man is not suitable, or must he consult me?
The answer is: If the matter is serious and this suitor is deviant, with no good in him, neither in character nor in religion, then go to the one being proposed to and inform him of his state, because this is from the category of advice and from the category of preventing harm. As for if he did not consult you, if you have a connection with him and he is a relative of yours, such as your uncle or your cousin, or the like, then go to him and say: O so-and-so, this man is not suitable to be given what he proposed for, because this is from the category of advice.
Let us limit ourselves to this part of the hadith and devote ourselves to the questions, and we ask Allah for correctness and reward. Yes.

The questioner : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Your Eminence, peace be upon you and Allah's mercy and blessings.
Is it derived from the hadith of Ibn 'Umar that the bid'ah divorce takes place, or not?

The Shaykh : This is a matter of scholarly disagreement. Most of the scholars and imams of the Muslim community say that divorce during menstruation takes place just as divorce during purity takes place, and the view of some scholars, who are a minority, is that divorce during menstruation does not take place.
This matter cannot be answered publicly, but every matter has a specific answer. So whoever has a difficulty should contact the scholars. Yes.
