Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: "It is He who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to make it prevail over all religion, even if the mushrikin (those who associate partners with Allah) dislike it," and an explanation of the virtue of beneficial knowledge

The Shaykh : And those who followed them with excellence until the Day of Resurrection.
As for what follows, we are meeting on this night, the night of Thursday, the thirteenth of the month of Sha'ban in the year 1413, with our brothers in al-Masjid al-Nabawi, the mosque of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), on the pulpit from which our honorable brother, Shaykh Abu Bakr al-Jaza'iri, used to deliver his lectures. He has authorized us to represent him on this night and on the coming night, the night of Friday, if Allah wills. So we ask Allah to reward him with good for us and to make this meeting a blessed one.
O my brothers, Allah sent Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) with guidance and the religion of truth.
It is He who has sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth هو الذي أرسل رسوله بالهدى ودين الحقّ
[At-Tawbah 9:33]
Guidance is beneficial knowledge, and the religion of truth is righteous deeds. Allah the Exalted did not send him with these two matters in vain or as play, but He sent him with these two matters
to manifest it over all religion ليظهره على الدين كلّه
[At-Tawbah 9:33]
although they who associate others with Allah dislike it. ولو كره المشركون
[At-Tawbah 9:33]

These two matters, namely beneficial knowledge and righteous deeds: if the Muslim community, in its era of light, the first era, the era of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and his Rightly Guided Caliphs, Abu Bakr, 'Umar, 'Uthman, and 'Ali, was granted preeminence and might over all creation who follow a religion other than Islam, then that will be established for the end of this community if it adheres to what its predecessors adhered to, namely beneficial knowledge and righteous deeds.
So what is beneficial knowledge, and what is righteous deeds?
Beneficial knowledge is the knowledge transmitted from Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding the beliefs of the religion and the laws of the religion, for the religion consists of beliefs and laws. Beliefs reside in the heart and are affirmed by the limbs, while laws reside in the limbs, through speech with the tongue and action with the limbs.
