The Shaykh : O servants of Allah, abandon the injustices. Abandon the injustices that exist between you and Allah, and between you and the servants of Allah. Fulfill the rights of their owners. Pay the zakah of your wealth, for a people have never withheld zakah except that the rain was withheld from them. Allah the Mighty and Majestic said:

⁽⁹⁶⁾ And if only the people of the cities had believed and feared Allah, We would have opened upon them blessings from the heaven and the earth; but they denied [the messengers], so We seized them for what they were earning." ⁽⁹⁷⁾ Then, did the people of the cities feel secure from Our punishment coming to them at night while they were asleep? ⁽⁹⁸⁾ Or did the people of the cities feel secure from Our punishment coming to them in the morning while they were at play? ⁽⁹⁹⁾ Then did they feel secure from the plan of Allah? But no one feels secure from the plan of Allah except the losing people.

ولو أن أهل القرى آمنوا واتقوا لفتحنا عليهم بركات من السماء والأرض ولكن كذبوا فأخذناهم بما كانوا يكسبون * أفأمن أهل القرى أن يأتهم بأسنا بياتا وهم نائمون * أوأمن أهل القرى أن يأتيهم بأسنا ضحى وهم يلعبون * أفأمنوا مكر الله فلا يأمن مكر الله إلا القوم الخاسرون

[Al-A'raf 7:96-99]

And Noah said to his people:

⁽¹⁰⁾ And said, 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver. ⁽¹¹⁾ He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [continuing] showers ⁽¹²⁾ And give you increase in wealth and children and provide for you gardens and provide for you rivers.

استغفروا ربكم إنه كان غفارا يرسل السماء عليكم مدرارا ويمددكم بأموال وبنين ويجعل لكم جنات ويجعل لكم أنهارا

[Nuh 71:10-12]
