What is the fiqh of the issue of means of calling to Allah?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward you, O Shaykh. If following the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) is one of the conditions for the acceptance of deeds, and we know that deeds whose benefit extends to others are not restricted to what the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did, what is the fiqh of this issue? We see many people in their da'wah mixing a lot of joking into their sermons and getting involved in things that do not concern them, such as politics or other matters. What is the correct fiqh of this issue?

The Shaykh : Means have the rulings of their objectives, and means are not limited. A means today may not be a means tomorrow. As for established acts of worship, it is not permissible to change them, neither by adding to them nor by subtracting from them. For example, now there is a means to convey the Friday sermon to the mosque, even if it is large. What is it? The microphone. We say this is good and beneficial. Now, the lines on the floor, the carpet of the mosque, this is also good because it is a means to what? To straightening the rows. How much we used to struggle with straightening the rows before that. Now, praise be to Allah, it has become a means to this required matter. There are many examples of this.
And with this, this meeting ends, and praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and his Companions, and those who follow them with excellence until the Day of Judgment.
