What is the ruling on the action of one who hung a newspaper in his room because it published the news of the death of a relative?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : A relative of one of the people died in an accident, so a condolence message came in the newspaper. He took this condolence message and hung it in the house, and he also placed it on his work desk. He also took a picture of the car in which the accident occurred and placed it in the house and on the desk as well. So one of the people said to him, "This is from the mourning of the pre-Islamic age of ignorance." Is this correct?

The Shaykh : Yes, this is from the actions of the pre-Islamic age of ignorance that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade, because this is mourning, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade mourning. So whatever is a cause for stirring up sorrows and renewing them falls under this. My advice is that you contact this man and say, "I offer my condolences to you, and let him remove this from his house and from his office desk, and let him seek help from Allah to be patient, for I fear that this action, in addition to being close to sin, I fear it will prevent patience." Yes, that is right.

The questioner : If he hung it, or the picture of the car...

The Shaykh : No, no. Let him forget it and turn away from this as if nothing had happened, and praise be to Allah.
