Addendum to the benefits of the verse: “Those are the ones who purchased misguidance in exchange for guidance, but their trade did not profit them, nor were they guided”

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Then Allah the Exalted said:
Those are the ones who have purchased error [in exchange] for guidance, so their transaction has brought no profit, nor were they guided.
[Al-Baqarah 2:16]
We have taken it. And its benefits, yes.
Among its benefits: that those who purchased misguidance in exchange for guidance, meaning they chose misguidance over guidance, have no profit whatsoever. Even if they profit in this world, it is a means of luring them into destruction, and profit in this world does not mean profit in reality, because the end of worldly profit, such as wealth, sons, luxury, and enjoyment, is what? It is transience. Allah the Exalted said regarding the people of Pharaoh:
(25) How much they left behind of gardens and springs (26) And crops and noble sites (27) And comfort wherein they were amused. (28) Thus. And We caused to inherit it another people.
[Ad-Dukhan 44:25-28]
Worldly enjoyment is nothing, because it is going and vanishing. Therefore He said:
their transaction has brought no profitما ربحت تجارتهم
[Al-Baqarah 2:16]
Even if a person is given respite and his profit increases in his transgression, he is a loser.
And among the benefits of the noble verse: the eloquence of the Noble Qur'an, which is by depicting the rational as the tangible. What is its aspect?
have purchased error [in exchange] for guidanceاشتروا الضلالة بالهدى
[Al-Baqarah 2:16]
And this buying and selling occurs in tangible things.
so their transaction has brought no profitفما ربحت تجارتهم
[Al-Baqarah 2:16]
Also, trade is in tangible things.
nor were they guided.
[Al-Baqarah 2:16]
And among the benefits of the noble verse: that whoever follows the path of misguidance is veiled from the path of guidance, due to His saying:
nor were they guided.
[Al-Baqarah 2:16]
, and for this there are proofs: Allah Blessed and Exalted said:
And We will turn away their hearts and their eyes just as they refused to believe in it the first timeونقلب أفئدتهم وأبصارهم كما لم يؤمنوا به أول مرة
[Al-An'am 6:110]
And He the Exalted said:
But they denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a confused condition.
[Qaf 50:5]
in a state of confusion, in doubt, in heedlessness.
