The Benefits of the Verse: “Whenever they are given a fruit as provision, they say, ‘This is what we were given before.’ And they are given fruits of the same kind. And for them therein are purified spouses, and they will abide therein forever.”

And among the benefits of the noble verse is that one of the blessings of the people of Paradise is that they are given provisions of the same kind [Al-Baqarah 2:25], and this is part of the perfection of bliss and the enjoyment of what they eat.
And among the benefits of the noble verse is the affirmation of marriage in the Hereafter, and that it is part of the perfection of bliss. So, is intercourse affirmed or not? It is affirmed. But if intercourse is affirmed, does the harm that occurs with the intercourse of the women of this world occur? The answer is no. For this reason, there is no semen in Paradise, and no seminal fluid. The semen that Allah the Exalted and Majestic created was created only for the continuation of the lineage, because this semen contains the substance from which the fetus is formed, and by the permission of Allah the Exalted, a child is born. But in the Hereafter, in Paradise, no, they do not need that, because there is no need for the continuation of the lineage, since those who are there will remain forever, and none of them will perish. Then, they are not in need of anyone to help them or serve them; the young boys will circulate among them with cups, pitchers, and goblets of a pure drink. Then, they also do not need anyone to climb the tree to pick its fruits; rather, as Allah the Exalted said about it in it:, until the scholars mentioned that a man looks at a fruit on the tree and feels, for example, that he likes it, so the branch comes close to him until he takes it—Glory be to Allah!—and do not be surprised by this, meaning that in this world we witness something like this, in the sense that we see a thing come close to another thing without a cause or without a tangible connection, but in the Hereafter it is more eloquent and more eloquent.
Whenever they are provided with a provision of fruit therefrom, they will say, "This is what we were provided with before."
