The benefits of the saying of Allah the Exalted: “Say, ‘Indeed, my Lord expands provision for whom He wills among His servants and restricts it for him.’”

Then Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, said: [Saba 34:36] Among the benefits of this verse is the request to make public the fact that all matters are in the hand of Allah, whether expansion or restriction, based on His saying: This is because the intention is not merely to say it in your heart, but to say it in your heart and also for others.
Among its benefits is that provisions are in the hand of Allah, based on His saying:[Ar-Ra'd 13:26] This leads to the benefit that we should seek provision from whom? From Allah, because He is the One who expands provision and restricts it. Another benefit branches from this: that we should not seek the provision of Allah through His disobedience, because seeking the provision of Allah through His disobedience is contrary to proper conduct. How do you seek provision from the One in whose hand is provision through His disobedience? For this reason, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) warned against that and said: This means seek provision in a beautiful manner, which is what conforms to the Shari'ah. Accordingly, is seeking provision through deception, lying, and oppression a prescribed manner or not? It is not prescribed; rather, it is contrary to proper conduct with Allah, Mighty and Majestic.
Among the benefits of the noble verse is the perfection of the lordship and authority of Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, because He expands and restricts, and no one can object to Him. Even if someone were to object to Him, would this objection be of any benefit? No, it would not be of any benefit, because Allah is the Manager of what He wills.
