Benefits of the Verse: “And fear a Day when no soul will avail another in anything, nor will intercession be accepted from it, nor will ransom be taken from it, nor will they be helped”

In this verse: there is a warning against the Day of Resurrection, and this occurs frequently in the Qur'an, such as His saying, the Exalted: [Al-Baqarah 2:281] and His saying, the Exalted: [Al-Muzzammil 73:17].
And among the benefits of this verse: that no soul will avail another in anything, unlike in this world, where one person may indeed avail another, but on the Day of Resurrection, no.
And among the benefits of this noble verse: that intercession is not accepted for the sinful soul, which is like His saying, the Exalted:[Al-Muddaththir 74:48]
But is this absolute? We say: As for the people of innovation, they said that it is absolute and that intercession does not benefit the sinner; these are the Mu'tazilah and the Khawarij. The correct view is that the one for whom intercession does not benefit is the disbeliever; intercession does not benefit the disbeliever.
And fear a Day when you will be returned to Allah

So there will not benefit them the intercession of [any] intercessors.
