What is the stance toward Islamic groups and the calls coming to these lands?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah bless your knowledge, O honorable Shaykh: What is the Muslim’s stance toward Islamic groups, their methodologies, and the calls, both incoming and internal, in these lands? May Allah preserve you?

The Shaykh : You know, may Allah bless you, that this Qur’an was revealed for this Ummah (the Muslim community) until the Day of Resurrection, and that this Qur’an guides to that which is most upright, and that Allah warned in this Qur’an against division. He the Exalted said:
And do not be like the ones who became divided and differed after the clear proofs had come to them ولا تكونوا كالذين تفرقوا واختلفوا من بعد ما جاءهم البينات
[Ali 'Imran 3:105]
He the Exalted said:
Indeed, those who have divided their religion and become sects - you, [O Muhammad], are not [associated] with them in anything. Their affair is only [left] to Allah إن الذين فرقوا دينهم وكانوا شيعًا لست منهم في شيء إنما أمرهم إلى الله
[Al-An'am 6:159]
He the Exalted said:
And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided واعتصموا بحبل الله جميعًا ولا تفرقوا
[Ali 'Imran 3:103]
And the verses and hadiths in this meaning are many. So, groups that lead to the division of the word and the difference of hearts are invalid groups. As for groups that do not lead to that, such as the difference among Muslims in schools of jurisprudence—this one is Hanbali, this one is Shafi'i, this one is Maliki, and this one is Hanafi—then they do not harm as long as the hearts have not differed. But, with great regret, I have found today that there are groups whose hearts have differed, and some of them declare others misguided, and perhaps some of them declare others disbelievers. You find a person who would prefer to see an open enemy from among the disbelievers and hypocrites, and yet he would prefer to see a real enemy from among the disbelievers and hypocrites, and does not see this Muslim who differed from him in methodology as an enemy. This is a calamity, and by Allah, it is a great stain on the future of the Islamic awakening, that these believers strike one another and disparage one another, as if they are saying to the people of disbelief, hypocrisy, and atheism: "Be assured, for we will suffice you; we will tear ourselves apart among ourselves, and some of us will declare others misguided, and some of us will declare others innovators." And this is a problem. It is obligatory for Islamic groups, such as the Tabligh group, the Reform Association, the Heritage Association, the Muslim Brotherhood, and others, that they should be one Ummah (the Muslim community), and that their leaders should sit together and discuss the points of disagreement between them, and then correct this disagreement, as long as the goal is one, if they are sincere, which is to uphold the Shari'ah (Islamic sacred law) of Allah and to honor the religion of Allah. So let them be at one table. As for some of them speaking about others behind walls, and the word tearing apart and the Ummah (the Muslim community) dividing, this is wrong. And we regret that some people exploit the young, small ones to party them, and then say: "Beware of such-and-such a group, beware of such-and-such a person, beware of such-and-such." Glory be to Allah! You want to build an Ummah (the Muslim community) that is divided and torn apart afterwards. So I warn very strongly against these groups that declare one another misguided, and I see that it is obligatory that we be one Ummah (the Muslim community) on one goal, and that the hearts do not differ, no matter how the opinions and sayings differ. Yes.
