What is the ruling on one who wears the ihram garments and hunts before reaching the miqat?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : A man entered the state of ihram and wore the ihram garments at the miqat.

The Shaykh : What?

The questioner : A man wore the ihram garments from his hometown, and on his way to the miqat he found game and hunted it, O Shaykh. He did not intend to enter ihram until the miqat, but he was wearing the ihram garments, although he was on the way and hunted game?

The Shaykh : He found game and hunted it?

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : Before he entered the state of ihram.

The questioner : He is in the state of ihram; he is wearing the ihram garments.

The Shaykh : Ihram is the intention.

The questioner : He is wearing the ihram garments.

The Shaykh : And it is not the garments.

The questioner : Does he hunt in them?

The Shaykh : Therefore, as long as he has not intended it and he is wearing the ihram garments, there is no prohibition on him: no hunting, no perfume, no cutting of hair, no intercourse with his wife, and nothing else.

The questioner : Until he reaches the miqat?

The Shaykh : Until he intends it. If he intends it, even in his house, he becomes in the state of ihram.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh : Yes. Is it finished? Did the adhan sound?
