What is the ruling on one who works as a guard in riba-based banks?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward you, O Shaykh: A man is asking, and he works in the central bank of a country. As is not hidden from you, the function of the central bank is to issue the necessary currency for the state, to collect the funds of riba-based banks and store them with them, while they engage in riba transactions. This man works in guarding and protection, so what is the ruling on his job?

The Shaykh : If it was by his own choice, meaning he went and requested to be a guard for this central bank that deals in riba, then it is not permissible, because his request to be a guard for this bank means his approval of it and its transactions. However, if he was assigned by others, such as police or soldiers who are directed to protect these places, then he owes nothing, because he did not approve of it, but his work requires that.
