What is your opinion of the poet's saying, "Let the days do what they will, and be at peace if the decree has ruled"?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah forgive you, O Shaykh, the poet's saying:
"Let the days do what they will, and be at peace if the decree has ruled"
Is there anything wrong with it, O Shaykh?

The Shaykh : Yes, there is certainly something in the first hemistich, because the days do not act; rather, it is Allah (Mighty and Majestic) who acts. However, time may be used to refer to the Actor, who is Allah (Mighty and Majestic). Among such expressions is the saying of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him):
Do not curse al-Dahr (Time) لا تسبوا الدهر
So, cursing time is cursing Allah (Mighty and Majestic). The poet may intend by his saying:
"Let the days do what they will"
that the Lord (Mighty and Majestic) is meant, in the sense that he is saying: Be content with the decree of Allah, as he clarified in the second hemistich:
"And be at peace with what the decree has ruled"
In any case, the poet has a perspective in the first hemistich, but there is no objection to the second hemistich. However, we say: It is not befitting for a person to say this, attributing events to their time. Yes.
