What is the ruling of the Shari'ah regarding hiring a driver and servants?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah forgive you, O honorable Shaykh, what is the ruling of the Shari'ah regarding hiring a driver and a maid? I ask for details.

The Shaykh : Yes, first, I advise you not to say to someone, "What is the ruling of the Shari'ah?" because a person may err or be correct, and say, "This is the ruling of the Shari'ah," when it is not the ruling of the Shari'ah. It is not the ruling of the Shari'ah unless you qualify it by saying, "What is the ruling of the Shari'ah in your opinion?" That is fine, or "What do you see regarding such-and-such?"
Hiring a male servant and a female maid is undoubtedly a form of luxury, and they say that luxury leads to destruction, except when there is a need. If a need arises, there is nothing wrong with hiring them, but each of them must be a Muslim.
