What is your guidance regarding the lack of khushu' in prayer, and what is the prayer of tasbih, its description, and its time?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : I ask for information regarding the lack of khushu' in prayer. Another point: what is the prayer of tasbih? What is its description? And when is its time?

The Shaykh : As for the prayer of tasbih, there is no authentic report of it from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (may Allah have mercy on him) clarified that its hadith is invalid and not authentic, and he said: "None of the Imams recommended it".
As for khushu' in prayer: one of its greatest causes is for a person to free himself from the concerns of this world, so that he is not preoccupied with them when the time for prayer arrives.
And he should be mindful of the greatness of the One before whom he stands, who is Allah (Mighty and Majestic). For when the one who prays stands to pray, Allah the Exalted is before his face, and He (Glorified and Exalted is He) is conversing with him. It is established in the authentic hadith of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Allah the Exalted said: I have divided the prayer between Me and My servant in two halves. When he says: "All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds," He says: My servant has praised Me. When he says: "The Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate," He says: My servant has extolled Me. When he says: "Master of the Day of Judgment," He says: My servant has glorified Me. When he says: "You alone we worship and You alone we ask for help," Allah says: This is between Me and My servant, half and half. And when he says: "Guide us to the straight path" — to the end of it — Allah says: This is for My servant, and for My servant is what he has asked.
So you see that the Lord (Mighty and Majestic) is conversing with you in your prayer. If you feel this feeling, you will be mindful of what you say in your prayer, and your heart will become humble, by the permission of Allah, for Allah the Exalted knows the treachery of the eyes and what the breasts conceal.

The questioner : May Allah reward you, O honorable Shaykh, and may Allah bless you and your knowledge, and benefit the Muslims through you.
