The Shaykh : They wash his daughter:
Three times, or five or seven, or more than that, if you think that (is necessary). اغسلنها ثلاثاً أو خمساً أو سبعاً أو أكثر من ذلك إن رأيتن ذلك
Sunan an-Nasa'i 1889Sahih (Darussalam)
And because of his statement (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding the man who was gored by his camel at 'Arafah, he said:
Wash him with water and suds. اغسلوه بماء وسدر
Because the sidr tree provides additional cleanliness.

The questioner : Is there any harm to the deceased?

The Shaykh : The deceased is dead and does not feel this; the deceased is dead and does not feel this thing. It is possible to cut them, but as I said, if there is harm in them, for example if they are long, because keeping them at that length causes harm.
