The reader: And al-Hakam ibn Musa narrated to me, and Haql ibn Ziyad narrated to us, he said: And 'Ali ibn Khashram narrated to us, and 'Isa—meaning ibn Yunus—all of them from al-Awza'i with this chain of narration, and he said: Sunan Abi Dawud 983Sahih (Al-Albani) and has not mentioned .
The Shaykh : But the one who mentions it takes precedence over the one who does not mention it, because it is an increase in knowledge, and it is an increase from a trustworthy source, and because the second tashahhud is the place of supplication. And His saying: "So let him seek refuge in Allah": the lam is for command, and the original ruling for command is obligation, especially since these matters are among the great catastrophes, and if Allah does not protect you from them, you will perish. So because of the command, and because they are great matters, if you do not be saved from them, you will perish.
The statement of obligation is directed, and for this reason, the statement of obligation is one of the two statements from Imam Ahmad (may Allah have mercy on him), and a group of scholars said this, which indicates the emphasis of supplication with that. And the obligation of this is stronger than the obligation of sending blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in the tashahhud, regarding which some scholars held that it is a pillar among the pillars of prayer, and some held that it is an obligatory act among the obligatory acts of prayer, and some held that it is a recommended practice, even though no command for it in prayer has come, rather the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) how they should pray upon him? He said: Say: "O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad." So this is a command of guidance, guidance regarding the manner, and there is no independent command for sending blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in the prayer; rather, they were asked: How do we pray upon you? Yes.
When one of you finishes the last tashahhud
إذا فرغ أحدكم من التشهدthe other
