How to reconcile the time for 'Isha' being until one-third of the night with it being until midnight?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : It is difficult for me that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) informed about the time, he said:
'Isha' prayer even up to midnight العشاء إلى نصف الليل
Sahih Muslim 647b
and he (peace and blessings be upon him) practiced it until one-third of the night. How is this reconciled?

The Shaykh : The reconciliation is that half of the night is the end, not the beginning. So, the time between one-third of the night and its half, which is one-sixth, is the best time for the 'Isha' prayer.

The questioner : I mean, Shaykh, like the 'Asr prayer...

The Shaykh : No, no, but it means that the time between one-third and half is the best time.
