What is the amount of blood in which prayer is valid?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : What is the amount of blood in which prayer is valid?

The Shaykh : If the blood is ritually impure, then the prayer is not valid in it, whether it is a small amount or a large amount, such as blood coming from the two passages, like menstrual blood or hemorrhoid blood.
As for when it is not ritually impure, meaning it came from other than the two passages, the scholars differed on it:
Some of them said: It is ritually impure, but a small amount of it is excused.
And some of them said: It is not ritually impure, such as nosebleed blood and blood from a wound caused by a glass or the like.
But the precaution is for a person to wash it to avoid the disagreement. However, those who said it is ritually impure said that a small amount of it is excused, and a small amount is what people consider to be small.

The questioner : May Allah bless you.
