Explanation of the Book of Hajj-06a

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Ahmad narrated to us, my father narrated to us, Ibrahim narrated to us from al-Hajjaj ibn al-Hajjaj from Qatadah from Abdullah ibn Abi Utabah from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) who said:
The people will continue performing the Hajj and `Umra to the Ka`ba even after the appearance of Gog and Magog.
Sahih al-Bukhari 1593
Aban and Imran followed him from Qatadah, and Abd al-Rahman said from Shu'bah:
The Hour will not come until the House is not visited for Hajj
Al-Mustadrak lil-Hakim 48:121
The first is more numerous; Qatadah heard from Abdullah, and Abdullah heard from Abu Sa'id.

The Shaykh : This contains the first hadith, which says:
The people will continue performing the Hajj and `Umra to the Ka`ba even after the appearance of Gog and Magog.
Sahih al-Bukhari 1593
The emergence of Gog and Magog will occur after the Dajjal, and it is among the last of the major signs of the Hour. Gog and Magog are two great, numerous tribes from the descendants of Adam. This is indicated by the fact that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) reported that Allah the Exalted will say to Adam on the Day of Resurrection:
O Adam, and he will say: At your service and obedience, and he will say: Bring out from your descendants a group to the Fire, or he said: a group of the Fire. He said: O my Lord, what is the group of the Fire? He said: Nine hundred and ninety-nine out of every thousand.
[from] all the descendants of Adam to the Fire, and the remainder to Paradise. This was a great burden on the Companions, and they said: "O Messenger of Allah, who is this one?" He said:
Be glad, for you are in two nations that were not in anything but they were the most numerous: Gog and Magog.
Gog and Magog were in the time of Dhul-Qarnayn. They were in the East, in East Asia. The people between them asked him to build a barrier between them and them, so he agreed and said:
Bring me sheets of iron
[Al-Kahf 18:96]
So they brought it to him. When he leveled it between the two mountains—meaning he gathered a great amount of iron until it reached the height of the mountains—he said, "Blow," meaning blow upon it with fire. This requires a great amount of fuel. When he made it into fire,
he said, "Bring me, that I may pour over it molten copper."
[Al-Kahf 18:96]
meaning copper. This great gathered iron that reached the height of the mountains became fire, and then he poured the molten copper over it, because his saying:
Pour over it افرغ عليه
means that it is molten so that it penetrates this iron and becomes strong. Allah the Mighty and Majestic said:
So Gog and Magog were unable to pass over it, nor were they able [to effect] in it any penetration.
[Al-Kahf 18:97]
To climb over it أن يظهروه
meaning they will climb over it and come to these people.
nor were they able [to effect] in it any penetration.
[Al-Kahf 18:97]
Thus, they cannot cross, neither from above nor by digging a tunnel. But the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) woke up one night with his face red, saying:
There is no god but Allah. Woe to the Arabs from an evil that has drawn near. Today has been opened in the barrier of Gog and Magog a gap like this, and he indicated with his index and middle fingers.
Thus, their evil and corruption have opened to this extent from the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). These people will be sent out in the final expedition and will emerge to the people after the killing of the Dajjal. Allah the Exalted will inspire Isa (Jesus) at that time, and he will be present at that time:
Indeed, I have sent forth servants for whom no one has the power to fight them.
meaning Gog and Magog, meaning no one can count them because they are very numerous.
you take these people safely to Tur
Sahih Muslim 2937a
meaning make them take refuge on the mountain. So he climbed the mountain and was confined there with the believers with him. Then Allah the Exalted, in His mercy, sent upon these Gog and Magog the pestilence in their necks, a worm that eats the brain, so they fell dead in one night. Glory be to Allah, until the air became foul because of them. Isa (peace be upon him) and those with him desired from Allah to stop this stench. It was said that Allah sent birds, one bird carrying one man, and throwing him into the sea. This is one narration. Another narration is that Allah sent upon them great rains that uprooted them and threw them into the sea. There is no contradiction; it is possible that both happened.
This House will be circumambulated for Hajj after the emergence of Gog and Magog.
Isa and those with him will perform Hajj to the Sacred House after Gog and Magog. As for his saying:
The Hour will not come until the House is not circumambulated for Hajj.
Al-Mustadrak lil-Hakim 48:121
Al-Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) says the first is more frequent, but in my opinion, there is no need for preference, why? Because of the possibility of combining them, meaning after Isa (peace and blessings be upon him) and the believers with him perform Hajj, they die, and then the House is not visited for Hajj, because the Hour will not come except upon the worst of creation. We see this research from al-Bukhari. "
