About Gog and Magog and the time of their emergence

Q: We have heard about the people of Gog and Magog in the Noble Qur'an. What is their current position in our contemporary world? And what is their role in it?

A: They are from the descendants of Adam, and they will emerge in the end times. They are in the east, and the Turks were among them. So the Turks remained outside the barrier, while Gog and Magog remained behind the barrier, and the Turks were outside the barrier. Gog and Magog are from the eastern peoples (the Far East), and they will emerge in the end times from the People's Republic of China and its surroundings, after the emergence of the Dajjal and the descent of Isa ibn Maryam (peace be upon him). This is because they were left there when Dhul-Qarnayn built the barrier, and they became behind it on the inside, while the Turks and the Mongols became on the outside. And Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He), if He wills their emergence upon the people, they will emerge from their place and spread across the earth, causing corruption therein. Then Allah will send a pestilence into their necks, and they will die a single death instantly, as the authentic hadiths from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) confirm. And the Prophet of Allah, Isa ibn Maryam (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Muslims will take refuge from them; because their emergence is in the time of Isa, after the emergence of the Dajjal.
