Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward you. The persistence of 'Abd Allah ibn al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) in praying two rak'ahs after the 'Asr prayer: Was this previously one of the specific characteristics of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him)?

The Shaykh : Read the athar (report) of Ibn al-Zubayr.

The questioner : 'Abd al-'Aziz said: "I saw 'Abd Allah ibn al-Zubayr praying two rak'ahs after the 'Asr prayer, and he informed me that 'A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) told him that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not enter her house except that he would pray them."

The Shaykh : That is, what reached him was that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about that and said, "No," and that the persistence in praying them is one of the specific characteristics of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).
