The reciter: Abdullah ibn Rajah narrated to us, saying: Israel narrated to us from Abu Ishaq from Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid, who said: .
The Shaykh : Allah is the Greatest (may Allah be pleased with them). The hadith is clear that Abdullah ibn Mas'ud did not combine the Maghrib and the 'Isha' prayers because he arrived close to the time of darkness, so he wanted to pray the Maghrib in its time (may Allah be pleased with him).
We went out with Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) to Makkah, and then we arrived at Mina. He prayed the two prayers, each prayer separately, with an adhan and an iqamah, and the 'Isha' prayer was between them. Then he prayed the Fajr prayer when the dawn appeared; some said the dawn had appeared, and others said it had not yet appeared. Then he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "These two prayers have been shifted from their time in this place: the Maghrib and the 'Isha'. So let not the people arrive at Mina until it becomes dark, and the Fajr prayer is at this hour." Then he stood until it became light, and then he said: "If the Commander of the Faithful were to proceed to the stoning now, he would have hit the Sunnah." I do not know whether he said this because he was faster, or because Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) had not yet departed, for he did not cease to recite the talbiyah until he stoned the Jamarat al-Aqabah on the Day of Sacrifice.
The Shaykh : Allah is the Greatest (may Allah be pleased with them).
